   I have ordered from My Pashmina quite a few times over the last 15 years or so, at first for myself in Canada, but also for friends in the UK. Nowadays, because the postage (and sometimes duty) is so expensive, I order for myself for pickup by family or friends when I am going to be visiting the UK . This scarf was ordered for a friend’s birthday – it arrived in good time and she loves it!

     For other customers reading this:

     At the time of writing, We charge £8.34 for shipping to Canada.

     There is a 5% tax charged on goods arriving in Canada from Europe by post when the value is more than $20, or $60 if it comes from friends or family.

     In 2015, you could get just over 2 Canadian Dollars for each British Pound. In 2019 you will only get $1.70CAD.
     15 years ago…. 2.50CAD … the GBP is not a good store of value.
